Why you should consider Inclusive Access:

  • Students are automatically enrolled (opted-in) as participating for courses that choose to utilize Inclusive Access (IA), based on their instructor's selections. Students will receive an email notification informing them which of their classes are part of this program, and they will see a “Course Materials by eCampus” link in Canvas.

  • Course materials will be available automatically through Canvas 1-2 weeks before the start of classes.

  • Payment for course materials will be automatically applied to the students' Miami University Bursar account.

  • If you do not wish to participate in the program, you will have 14 days from the start of classes to opt-out of participation, and you do so by using the “Course Materials by eCampus” link in Canvas.

Common Troubleshooting

How does the Inclusive Access Program work?

Inclusive Access offers students their course materials in digital format at the lowest cost possible. The digital course materials are available through Canvas, and the cost will be reflected on the student’s Bursar account.

Miami University has partnered with eCampus.com on a new Inclusive Access Program. We want to make the course materials process easier for students, faculty and staff, and school administration, so we want to let you know what to expect and provide information in case you run into any issues. Should you have additional questions after reviewing this information, please email miamioh@ecampus.com.

eCampus.com negotiates discounted pricing directly with publishers on over 360,000 titles leading to students being able to realize savings of up to 75% off of new retail prices. Instructors have the advantage of leveraging a limitless catalog of titles, with additional titles added every week.
